How do I prepare for my first treatment?

It's a good idea to eat something light and nutritious before your appointment, and be sure to wear something comfortable that allows for easy movement. Bringing in any relevant lab work or imaging reports may help the practitioner assess your prognosis and treatment plan more clearly, but is not absolutely necessary.

Do you accept insurance?

At Acupremier Acupuncture, we do our best to help our South Bay community receive the best care we can provide. For this reason, we do accept some insurances, but not all. For more information regarding your specific coverage, please contact your insurance company and plan by calling member services on the back of your insurance card.

Will I be able to exercise after treatment?

While it is generally okay to engage in exercise after receiving treatments, it is strongly recommended to take a break from all forms of physical activity immediately following your sessions. This brief period of rest will enable the treatment effects to settle in and be more effective, allowing your body to absorb and benefit from the therapy you received.

How many treatments will I need to see results?

The treatment frequency and overall total cost can vary significantly from person to person and case to case, as each individual's needs and circumstances are unique. Your practitioner will work closely with you to communicate a customized treatment plan that aligns with your specific needs, schedule, and budgetary considerations. After your initial evaluation, we will have a clearer understanding of what to expect moving forward in your treatment journey.

Is acupuncture painful?
